ABOUT JAMES
Raised in the world famous artist community of Woodstock, NY, I've found inspiration everywhere I looked. Surrounded by beautiful nature and creative artists, it has been easy to draw inspiration from my environment.
To me, photography is a medium that allows me to express a wide variety of feelings, visions, and inspirations, compressing time into a single frame that can be looked at for generations. I'm motivated by a desire to share the beauty of the world with others from my own unique perspective.
Education:
I've always been immersed in the arts from a young age, deeply motivated by self-study. I spent my senior year of high school attending the local community college, touching up on my already established design skills. From there I entered the Rhode Island School of Design, studying a variety of visual medium. My photography journey has been a constant study which will continue as long as I live. More than any formal study, I learn the most from experimentation and practice.
